The Promised Land

This album culminates in my own personal journey and discovery of The Promised Land. Not a physical destination but a place of rest and peace, where one can cease from striving and can truly trust in the Divine. The album draws on themes of hope, transition, new beginnings, and the beauty of Creation that surrounds us.

This 13-track instrumental piano suite is enriched by emotive cello and spontaneous acoustic guitar, all woven together by recurring themes of lavender and the freedom of flight; creating a place where the listener can escape to somewhere vast, beautiful, and peaceful.

Born from a season of loss, and the reflective years that followed my father’s passing, this album captures the profound journey of honoring the past, while discovering new life. I experienced a new sense of creativity and expression through music, composing and collaboration, which accumulates to this wonderful new album. The journey has involved letting go of the past, being present, and once again surrendering, in order to enter the rest of the Divine.
